Play Go Online Free: vs AI or Real Players | PlayGo.gg

PlayGo.gg is a free Go server where you play Go online against people or AI in your browser. Pick a board size, choose a time control and press Play Online. Matchmaking finds an opponent near your level in seconds, and you can try it as a guest before creating an account.

Play Go against AI

Not ready for a human opponent? Play against 39 bots from 30 kyu to 10 dan, each with its own name and character, on 9x9, 13x13 or 19x19. Set the handicap and komi, choose your colour, and replay the game afterwards.

An AI coach after every game

Every game on PlayGo comes with an AI review. The coach points out the moves that cost you the most, shows the better move and explains why in plain language, so each game teaches you something.

Ranked or casual, 9x9 to 19x19

Ranked games move your PlayGo rating up and down. Casual games do not. Blitz and standard time controls are available, 13x13 and 19x19 open up as you improve, and games with friends, pair Go and tournaments are all free.
